Home made greenhouse

Evening all
Been busy today building a "greenhouse"
Made from 19 x 38 tanalized batten, and clear builders plastic (vapour barrier)
Measures 2.4m long x 1.4m wide x 1.8m tall
I made it as I cant afford to buy one.

And I made the roof hinged so it can be opened for ventilation.


I know nothing about growing in a greenhouse, I just know I want to grow tomatoes cucumbers, sweet peppers and chillies. Hoping this will work, any and all advice appreciated.

Be prepared to tape up the holes as they appear...they do quite readily, especially when using growing canes!

 

Well done. Brilliant! My neighbour installed double glazing and built himself a greenhouse from discarded old windows and doors. He only used it for a couple of years for growing tomatoes. Then he lost interest and it was used as storage space. The story of his life.
