Marge i would love to help out somewhere like that animal rescue but i would bring them all home.
When i lived in america i did voluntary work with animal rescue re-homing, worked ideal as i knew i couldnt own my own dog over their, so i took dogs home until be found homes for them so i had the best of both worlds. Really enjoyed it in fact the one i did voluntary work for is in Detroit, michican and is on a program on skys animal planet. [IMG]

That sounds superb Rosa! I just really take pics of the new bunnies and put them on a rehoming website. If I have time, I give them all a cuddle. Last time there was a springer there - I fell in love with him  Trouble is, I dont really have time to look after all my buns now so I cant have any more animals!!!

I have had a lovely day at work today [IMG] Last week we had some kind people bring into the vets a box that their dog had found, they were scared to open the box as they could hear noises inside and were worried what they might see. When I untaped the box their was a Guinea Pig inside, she was elderly and had gone blind in both eye's. So glad that the couples dog found her before she suffocated in the box. Today was lovely as we found a lovely home for her to spend the rest of her days. There are thankfully more kind people willing to help these unfortunate creatures than there are horrid people who abandone animals.

How wonderful, Poppy33! As you know, I love happy endings to these horror abandonment stories. My two "carrier bag" babes are asleep at the moment ... a day old when we found them, forty days old today! :D :D :D

Marge, the Sactuary who hand fed our two babes until last week is a Donkey Sanctuary. She (the lady who owns / runs it) Nan has 20 at the moment and believe it or not she says she always finds homes for them because a lot of people have land here! Great, isn't it! [IMG]
