    I purchased 50x 20-40cm lonicera nitida, I've planted 25 in a row and 25 in a pot of compost.

The 25 planted, 3-4 have turned green and look very healthy the rest have stayed a dark green colour. They don't appear to be dying, just not flourishing like the other few.

Planted in garden soil, no compost, they have sun all day and I water in the evenings every day. They've been in the ground 2-3weeks.

Should I leave them alone or pull up and replant with compost? As a compromise would laying compost on top around the stem give any benefit?

The plants in the compost pot are 90% flurishing.

    Thanks

I'd give them a few more weeks before disturbing them. It's still quite cold. Also maybe cut back the watering to a couple of times a week.

      Its a tough old plant.
      I'd leave it alone.
