Hello, I've just joined and I've already got a question.
I have a honeysuckle and each year after a healthy looking start the leaves go moldy curly up and die and there are some flowers. It's done the same thing this year and now it's sprouting fresh new leaves.
What should I do with it? Thanks, Stuart.

Sounds like mildew to me. Some of my honeysuckles get it every year. Stressed plants are more susceptible to it, so if they are too dry at the roots, its too hot. Unfortunately they can also be stressed by cold damp weather.
I have some species honeysuckle these seem less susceptible than the hybrids.

Honeysuckle like their roots to be moist and cool. It sounds like your honeysuckle may be in a sunny place. Try to provide shade for the roots and keep it well watered

Hi, this is my first post so please be kind.

I have a very small north facing garden (no green house). I would like to start some seeds off in my garage, its only window faces north. I was thinking of using a number of (old type) bulbs to provide additional light and some heat. I am on an extremely tight budget so canĂ¢??t afford an elaborate set up. Do you think my idea is ok or does anybody have any suggestions please.

            Thank you

            Stuart

            Here it is  :heehee:
