    ... cunningly disguised as rats!

I have kept fancy rats for about 10 years, and i could never be without them. My babies!
I show them, and hope to breed for show quality pets in the future! My rattery name and Prefix is Redwall, like the Brian Jacques books.

So meet the Rats of Redwall!

    Redwall's/HM Hero.

An oriental beauty! Dark points and happy, bouncy nature being the fancy values of this bonsai. Prefer ceramic bowls when young. ;)

    Redwall's/Milo's Ivy.
This light brown creeper tends to have lazy tendancies. Grumpy too. Supposed to be another oriental plant, a bermese variety, but is, in fact, rubbishy. To make up for this, shes extremely snuggley when she wants to be, and gorgeous!

    Redwall's/Adelphe's Captain Morgan Adams

Ah Morgan. A girls best friend. Very attentive and adoring! Which is normal for a plant of course! :D Dark chocolate in colour, milk chocolate in nature!

    Redwall's Dylan
    Silly Dyllie. The flesh eater.
Distant relative to the Venus Fly Trap, but focuses not on flies, but fingers.
A rescue girlie, dumped in a box on the road near a vet. Is much better now than she once was, though she does have a tendancy to chew anything of value, including mummy if mummy is silly enough to put fingers through the bars, as Dylan is territorial.
    Latin name : snotty-cow-face muscipula

    Redwall's Boris
    THE dude.
Hes had a hard life so far. He was a pet shop rat, that had to be handed in to my friends rescue with his brother because the owners didnt have a clue. He had an aweful respiritory condition and had any number of parasites swarming his skin. THEN he got better! THEN his brother died. THEN he went to live with some new boys in a new home, but they picked on him all the time. THEN he was handed back and has lost his manhood. NOW hes coming to to live with me and live happily ever after with my girlie whirlies! Hes much better now and is as snuggly a variety of dark rattus-plant as Morgan.
He will be joining us on the 11th of August!
Due to respiritory problems, this chubby plant needs much sunlight and little ventilation!

    I'm done now.

My babies! Such a shame, they're fantastic with most dogs, well most dogs are fantastic with them! [IMG]

Do the 'oops! Look what i found, darling?' thing. Works like a charm!

Did it for years to my poor mother.

When i told OH that Boris was coming, i baked him cookies first. Then he knew something was up.

Whiley, I think they cute as buttons! Never had a problem with such critters and always like to talk to them in pet shops. The only shop (a DIY) I know here that sold them stopped selling pets a year or so ago so when t'other half's looking for his bits and pieces I have no one to go chat to! [IMG] I will say, the kitten and puppies (usually full breed) were in air conditioned housing.

You havent seen a rat in full bloom until you've seen it with a huge cage, lots of friends and lots of toys and puzzles! It amazes people! Not just fuzzy hamsters with tails! Hohno! :D

Will try to get a video up or something one day!
