We have a frog living in the garden:yho:I came across him or her lying low behind the ferns in a lovely, damp and shady spot. Fingers crossed that means my slug issues will be greatly reduced :):)

That's good news - but I think frogs only eat slugs when a) they're small and b) there's nothing better around!

There's a video somewhere on Youtube of a frog eating a big slug but its face afterwards clearly implies "yuk!"

The slugs I have are fairly small - not the huge, fat and glistening things.

I've been going out every night with a bucket of salt water and collecting them. I know that's slightly obsessive and only a drop in the (salt?) ocean, but it makes me feel better. I have too many plants they are chomping on and the beer traps aren't working...

Whilst don't have a toad, I do have lots of birdies who love to feast on my slugs & snails, so I don't have to resort to the dreaded blue pellets (very often).
