Horse manure.

Hi there,

I can get some "well rottedhorse manure", is it to early as yet to get it???

Will it wash the "goodness" out by the winter.

f you just stack it I suppose it will lose some fertilizer properties, but will still be a good soil conditioner.

If it is well rotted you could mulch the area you want to apply it to, and the worms will have pulled it into the soil by the Winter and save you a job!

 

Hi moonrakermagpie (what a silly nik ) If it's well rotted, whack it on any time I reckon. Good as a mulch, which will in turn get dug in. Cheers...freddy.
