Horse Radish

    I found some horse radish plants today. I believe they are perennial and as long as you leave a bit of root in the ground they will grow next year. Has anybody grown this? I am unsure where to plant them. I have to say the fact that a piece of root left in the ground will grow may spell menace. I wonder would they be better containerised.

    Yup, I would recommend a container. Mine are in a large-ish pot - about 12" - 14" I would guess.

    Thanks Kirsten. I will do that then. I don't really want them taking over the garden. They look a bit like dock leaves
