With various parts of the country being on a hose pipe ban is the use of these drip feed watering systems that you connect to your outdoor tap included in the ban.
I do appreciate that in effect it is a hose but it surely can't use as much water can it.

Regrettably Dendy the use of water at the RHS this summer was obviously quite considerable and although the river next door continued to flow there was little water to spare. The area is also surrounded by golf course including the new one at Wisley and many of them do not have a spring or other water source to help keep their greens in good condition.

Hose Pipe bans are really a must down here but I do wish that the water companies would spend more on stopping wastage rather than paying large bonuses to their CEOs and trying to protect their shareholder interests.
