Hosta hanging baskets coming on

    Well I have never thought of that :SUNsmile: I hope you can keep them moist in the hot weather.. Thats my main bug bear about hanging baskets.. :thumbsup:

      My baskets are self watering.
      You unscrew the bit at the bottom, fill with water/feed and screw them back on.
      A capillary wick draws the water up into the compost.

      As long as keep these reservoirs filled I'm hoping the hostas will be fine.

      I love hostas but the slugs and snails ruin them for me.
      I thought by having them in hanging baskets they would have a much better chance.

        Well I like the sound of your baskets you must tell us how the Hostas get on in them as I love them to butcsobdovdlugs and snails as you say. :thumbsup:
