    .

    Hi,

Does any one of you grow Hosta "June," I have just purchased two (plus others), they are supposed to be blue/green leaf coulering, these are cream/yellow/ green coloured leaves.

They are nothing like the colouring on photo's on the net from other suppliers!

When I queried it with the supplier the following was their reply.

(The blue comes from a waxy covering to the leaves, at this time of year they are dark green in colour on small plants, even our blue angels and big daddy's are not very blue at this time of year. They should come up as you would expect in Spring. They are correct it is just the time of year. If you are not happy with them in Spring we will replace but the whole batch is the same.)

If this is correct I will be quite happy with the plants, but there is not a hint of "blue" in any of the leaves.

    Any replies would be welcome.

    Cheers.

There are over 300 types of Hosta and they keep making more all the time.
I have several types on my property. What you discribe can be close to any number of them, but slightly off. Just enjoy and venture forward for other types.
