hot chilli peppers

    hi there, my friend gave me some hot chilli pepper seedlings a few months ago and now they are just a bit bigger than a golf ball. he didnt know which type they were and now im wondering when they will be ready to harvest?. they are still green at the moment so any advice would be most welcome :o)

    Can you post a photo willow.? Do you mean the chillies are about golf ball size? Then I would say you may have Scotch Bonnet chillies there... Can be harvested when green or left to ripen.. Hot & a favourite of the Caribbean... :D

      Sounds a bit large for scotch bonnet at this time of year but I can't think of anything else it could be.

      A photo would be really helpful. :dbgrtmb:

      There will be a number of chilli festivals coming up later in the summer so there may be one near you. They're a nice half day out :thumbsup:
