How fabulous. With all the balconies I assume it's flats.

I love succulents and have many of them, but mine are not as good as those.

My first thought was, I wonder if those balconies have a weight restriction, most plants take in water and then let it go, succulents don't, and just get heavier and heavier.

                Still very impressive though.

Looks impressive and ... rare. (From I remember been in Italy many years ago, they are not much interested in plants). I'm trying to figure out what the long hanging plants are. If it's sedum morganianum, then blow wind and all gone.

Oh, thank you for finding that @Selleri I like to look up goodies I find.

TAORMINA – The “Palazzo fiorito” has been baptized. It is located in Mazzeo, a seaside village of Taormina, in Piazza Giuseppe Mazzini. The owners are two sisters, Pancrazia and Giuseppina. It is a house which, due to its floral decorations, has by now become an irresistible attraction for photographers and tourists, especially foreigners.

In recent days, Pancrazia and Giuseppina were awarded, in the presence of the mayor Mario Bolognari, at the Villa Comunale of Taormina, during the ceremony that took place at the conclusion of the competition "Showcases, balconies and terraces in bloom - 2019". The two sisters came first in the "Balconies and terraces" category for the masterful and, at the same time, original floral decoration of their building.

I'm not able to see the initial photo on my screen (it has a red cross across the icon). It caught my attention because @Victoria mentioned @Michael Hewett was the man to connect with, as I mentioned to her I really want to up the ante on my knowledge of cacti and succulents. I also speak reasonable Italian, so the thread title also caught my attention. My external gardening interest is mainly Mediterranean.
