And also upload a photo in it - I tried loading a pdf pic with its url but it didn't work. Is there a way I can upload a normal jpeg instead? Thanks!

I upload my jpgs by dragging and dropping into the post reply area. It works OK if your photos are not too big a file. Mine are about 1.5mb. If they're big you need to reduce them first or post them through a site such as Photobucket.

Re: amending a blog post:- Not sure about blogs but ordinary posts can be amended by clicking the 'Edit' button at the bottom left of your post.

Thanks Shiney - the blog is weird, it doesn't let you grab a file but now I can't see how to edit the post itself in order to either delete or try to upload another picture :?

As I said, I don't know about blogs but ordinary posts have a series of options at the bottom of the post.

There are no Staff on duty at the moment but I'll give them a yell for when they pop in (all volunteers) :blue thumb:

Only .jpg and .png images can be uploaded (or dragged, or copy and pasted)

        To edit blog post:

        1) Click on blog post title

        blog1.png

        2) Click on Edit at top left hand side

        blog2.png

        3) Save

P.S. Reducing landscape images to 800 x 600 pixels and portrait to 600 pixels high should ensure they both upload and display at maximum size

I only tried it once, just to see what it was like.

Thanks Scrungee - unfortunately I only have the 'report' button, not the edit or delete button?! Hopefully admin can sort it out :)

Viewing a blog post and only seeing a 'report' button is what would be expected if logged in and viewing another member's blog post, so definitely something wrong there, either PM'img a mod/admin, or reporting your own post will draw there attention to it, taking and uploading a screenshot may assist.

@Zigs @ARMANDII @fat controller, please see above posts.

P.S. This is how I view @Scattyjan 's blog posts:

          1) Logged in as myself with Report button showing, so presumably as @Scattyjan is viewing here own posts. NB Scattyjan, can you edit your own 'ordinary' posts?

          blog3.JPG

          2) Logged out, no report button showing, so probably eliminates scattyjan not being logged in, I've known a similar problem to occur on another forum due to a corrupt membership file issue.
