 How do you grow your Wallflowers?
Do you have loads of room and grow them from seed.
Do you buy bare rooted plants from the GC or nursery.
Or do you like me buy plug plants and grow them on.
    Or do you hate them.
The ones that I buy are neat small plants that don't fall over with heavy rain and seem to flower from now into spring.........brilliant value.

70 small plant ready to bush.

Mine are from seed too, they're about 8cm high at the moment so I'm hoping I can pinch and plant them out before frosts. This is the first year I've grown them.
Funnily enough a lot of things seem to grow like mad here once I plant them out, but not grow much in pots.

I've grown them for the last couple of years. This year I've sown 5 seeds direct into 7cm pots and got about 120 on the go at the moment.
Last year I sowed them in mid July and the plants were ok but very root bound by the time I planted them out in November.
This year Ive sown in late august.
It is a touch late @Sheal but you've nothing to lose :)

I bought bare rooted ones a couple of years ago on WOOs and Spruces advice . I think they should be on sale around now . A nice winter plant .

I have never bought plug plants for anything Val, I like to grow my own wherever possible. :)
