I store mine in a large plastic clip lid box in the greenhouse - these are the unused part packets from previous years.
Own seed are stored in small brown labelled envelopes.
Just about to go through them all to check dates, seed condition etc.
How do you store your seeds from one season to the next?

All over the place ! I am not a tidy and organised person. I have good intensions - a few plastic boxes and packs of small paper envelopes at the ready, but my plans never come to fruition.
Some seed packets are shoved in between gardening books on shelves, others are on the kitchen worktop, others are on an old chair in the kitchen waiting for me to put them somewhere 'safe' ... but I can always find them

In a Tupperware box, my own saved seeds in small brown envelopes.
All the above are in the house.

In sealed plastic tubs on the top shelf of the drinks fridge. I have small plastic sealable sachets I use for my own chilli and tomato seeds and brown paper bags for other seeds I've saved plus the commercial packs which can be paper, plastic or foil, depending.

My own saved seeds are in a cool room in small brown envelopes.

The ones I buy are in the house in a shoe box again in a cool room.

I rarely use old seed from previous years apart from a few plant types, because I dont like wasting time sowing half dead seed.

in paper envelopes that come with junk mail and then kept in the hessian bag which is hanging in the walk in lardy. Always works.

They need to be kept dry, dark and cool. Mine are in a tin box in the larder, which is always cool. I would avoid a greenhouse because they can get too hot even this time of year.

I have two organizers like this that each hold 80 of these little plastic thingies. There are still about 30 left unused.

                  Wow @CanadianLori that's very systematic!
Mine sit in original packets in the fridge - collected seed is in envelopes, but unfortunately sometimes they aren't well labelled! I am nerdy enough to have a small fridge just for plant use; mostly for agar plates trying to grow orchids, and for orchid seed - dried out in jar of toasted rice, then into sealed glass jars.

Very impressive @CanadianLori - but important if you have loads of different packs. I would be hopeless at doing that, and end up with a load of stuff that would fail due ot being out of date!

I'm similar to @pete - kept in the original packets, and any saved ones are put in home made paper packets. I then store them in a box in the cupboard of my back hall, which keeps them cool and dry until I need them. I have a tin box in the kitchen, but that would get too hot during spring/summer, so it's mainly for labels and other bits and bobs. I couldn't keep them in my little gr'house as they'd get too damp, and then rot and/or freeze.

Well the dried Runner beans are stored in an empty 'Roses' tin , while our flower seeds like Lychnis Coronaria, Tellima , Maltese Cross , Nasturtium to name a few are kept in used envelopes in an old Shoe Box .we start off in about March which isn't that far away now.

In shoeboxes (mine so small, size 37/4) ...
                        Seed Storage.jpg

Flower seeds are in original packs or small zip lock bags in the bottom yellow box with A-Z dividers.
Other seeds are in front section of top box with label sticks, pens, cellotape, empty bags, etc in back.
Labels, tags etc that come with/attached to plants are kept in center box.
The boxes are kept in a shelved "pantry" also containing cookery/gardening books, art/craft supplies in the dining half of kitchen against a west-facing wall so dark and cool.

I keep mine in plastic boxes, mainly takeaway boxes, hanging from the ceiling in a cool shed, (to make it a little more difficult for rodents to get to them).

I do have 3 varieties of flowers in their original seed packets in the refrigerator for scarification. They are the only seeds that I had bought though. All of the rest are collected and some of them are more than 6 generations from the original purchased seed starts. I did try making little pictures of the plants to slip inside those plastic containers to show exactly what I had collected but it was too time consuming/tedious so I backed off of that idea!

I probably should buy more seeds just to get some fresh stock.
