How far behind last year are you ?

My veg outside seems to be about 3 weeks behind last year due to the cold weather.

Is anyone else having the similar problems ?

 

I am, but I think that its more due to the fact that I'm about 3 weeks behind!!!! haven't managed to get my onions and spuds in yet, thats tomorrows job!

 

I think I'm behind because last year was too far ahead due to the ridiculously hot April and the proceeding rubbish year. This year is better so far as far as growing goes.

 

Agree Sawfish. Last year started brilliantly and went downhill at a rate of knots. Let's hope we get the warmth when we need it this year and not have everything wiped out in August because of excessive rain.

 

agree john:thumb: lets not moan about being three weeks behind as last year was a total wash out if its a little behind but gets here in the end ill be happy...not waiting till september though:D

 

I would agree with the three weeks behind last year but!! to be quite honest I would like to think of it as; this season is back to normal. Or least 'normal' as I think of the garden year with April showers and hopefully we will get a flaming June, which you may recall last year was reversed.

We had a heat wave in April and floods in June.

Fingers crossed I am correct!
