I've just managed to get an unlimited supply of 3+ year old well rotted horse muck.

It's such good stuff it's almost 50% earthworms and completely black.

My question is how much can you put on in 1 go ,i.e can I add too much ?

I'm thinking of putting about a 2 inch layer on the whole plot as I've not put any on for a couple of years.

Or can I add it in unlimited amounts ?

Shove it all on Dan, shouldn`t be a problem. By the time next season arrives, the worms will have taken it into the soil and you are away. Can I put my veg order in now, please?:D

As my hubby goes fishing an awful lot, I end up with buckets and buckets of this stuff and have always just put them all on.

LOL sorry John, I should give fuller answers.

Fishing buddies are like the Masons, a lot of backscratching involved-his mate runs a stables and has a thing on the side with a wormery. so he gets loads of the stuff. Don`t ask me what Hubby does in return-I would rather not know, but it`s bound to be convoluted.

Dan: David is right of course, stick it all on now and let it over winter - it sounds like really good stuff.

Oh no John-they "aren`t allowed to" these days apparently-it`s all about weights and pegs and all the rest of the stuff I try to tune out when he is going on about which swim feeder, which line.........zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Course, if he is reading this I find everything he says very interesting and fascinating......of course LOL
