how much to replace

    after the wind did this how much will it cost to replace it, lets say with one 5ft-6ft

    Cheapest ive seen them at around �£40. BUT.....

    I rekon theres a very likely chance that that it may well take root agin if you remove some of the lower roots and bury the lower section. stake it to keep it stable and give it a fighting chance

    i think theres no chance pro as it went in bin this morning :D :D [​IMG] the mother plant has left about 7 young that are going to grow in all directions.. lady imp doesnt like them so it looks like a new one in the morning :mad:

    Ste leave them a bit longer and you will probably be able to seperate them with a sharp knife,make sure each piece has some root on pot them up, let them establish themselves before planting them out,worth a go nothing to lose and will save you money and you will end up with more than one.

    Or reduce the shoots to one, which with the established root system should grow pretty fast.
    Just a bit concerned as to why the main bit broke off and why there was so many basal shoots.
    Suggests perhaps that there had been a bit of rot or some such problem going on at ground level, I'd guess. [​IMG]

    Sounds like a bit of a rip off to me david, the delivery that is.

    Plant delivery is a very expensive thing, you have to remember that the plants have to picked up at least a day before delivery, they are living things so they have to be looked after. I know, 5 years ago, it would cost a nursery �£60.00 per trolley in delivery charges.

    Much easier to buy locally and pick up yourself.
