My neighbour is very nice but has a bird feed table that is literally a table she puts feed onto so pigeons and blackbirds feed on it a lot.

The problem is the pigeons sit on my aerial and poo in my garden. I was particularly disappointed after I sprayed the fence (brown) it now has bright white pigeon poo down it and they also get my car and rose so far.

I have a cat but he is obviously not catching enough (or any) - they do not really come into my garden just sit on the fence, aerial and poo.

I don't really want to ask my neighbor to get rid of her feeding table though maybe I could subtly mention the damage the pigeons are doing...

    Wide Spray shot gun.

    I'll get me coat...again.:(

Naw...seriously, are you not being a bit oversensitive. You are talking about collared doves and or wood pigeons. You cat won't go for them.

Ok, a bit of bird doo doo on your fence, rose or car....not a big deal really, is it?

Try hanging a cd near the aerial so as to reflect light. Personally id be reaching for my trusty .22 S410.

It's not the poo I dislike, it's when they make their delightful cooing noise at 5am using our chimney as an amplification device, it really resonates around the room, who needs an alarm clock?

Put those little rubbery spikes on the surfaces where they usually perch. Pigeon poo can lead to all sorts of headaches if its left about a lot, including skin irritation / dermatitis.

Tweaky's idea of renting a sparrow hawk is not so far from the truth. I'm sure I've seen somewhere that you can buy life-like dummy hawks to scare other birds away.

Pigeons are no laughing matter. Here in Hampshire, they're so big that there are many instances, fully authenticated, of them carrying off fully grown Rottweilers, postmen and even a Toyota Yaris....

Also maybe not feeding him and putting pictures of pigeons around where he sleeps? Maybe feed him some coffee so he stays awake during the day, he sleeps too much!

They must prefer the Yaris to my Peugeot - they just poo on my car.

Where do you get the rubber spikes from?
