    Hi

I have some plants in pots, where I have added a layer of mulch. How should I add fertiliser to them? It’s both liquid fertiliser (tomorite) and granules

    thanks

Hi @Javidr, different plants have different requirements so it will be useful to know what your plants are and what compost and mulch have you used.

Sure. It’s an apple tree (this one is in soil) and strawberries for the tomorite, and anemia, roses and jasmine for the granules

the mulch I used is called landscape bark

    thanks

The liquid fertiliser will find its way through the mulch (as water does). For the granules I think it would be better to carefully scrape back the mulch before sprinkling the granules, although they would probably dissolve and find their way into the soil eventually.
