How to make a hyperlink?

I would like to link another forum to my forum with a hyperlink.

I have no idea how to do this. I have googled for instructions but nothing seems to work.

Please can anybody tell me where I can find simple step by step instructions ?

I notice several GC members have hyperlinks on their postings so thought somebody might help.

 

This one should take you to Google ... Google

Click on the URL button in the Reply Form. Enter the full URL in the first window, and the desired text in the second.

If no windows appear, then you probably need to enable Popups from this site in your Browser options.

I see your forum is done with phpbb, i suggest googling "phpbb forum help", check out the first couple of links. You could even post your question there. Likely likely a few more experts than you'll find here.
