How's Your Exochorda Doing?

I thought it might be a good idea to start this thread and we will be able to see how different parts of the country contrast in their progess.

We are on the Herts/Essex border

Today - the buds are just starting to open

 

Well here's the one in my garden in West Cheshire. Like I have said it was confused by the earlier warm spell in the Winter and thought about flowering. Anyway, it seems to be getting over that!





I do like this particular shrub!!

 

These photos are 9 days later - took them last night.





and a closer shot taken 4 days ago (less than a week after the ones in my first post). It's a very rewarding plant.
