    Credit where its due here.

As part of our new pond set up we are using a Hozelock Tital 5500. Well it was running for only a week and i discovered it had tripped, not only the circuit breaker but the fuse box in the outbuilding and the fuse inthe house feeding the outbuilding!!

Turned it all back on and nothing happened.

We rang the customer services this morning and they are sending out a replacement pump already - they only needed the serial number. They will send us a prepaid box to return the faulty pump.

So although i was disapointed when the pump stopped working, i can only give their customer service 100%. I knew they had a reputation for good customer services but this was very good.

    Well done them!:thumb:

I can say hozelock is amongst the best for customer care.
The wife bought a wall mounted hosereel and upon opening the box discovered the 3 hose guide pulleys, bushings and various fixings were missing.
After emailling Hoselock (on saturday afternoon) explaining the problem, we received an email today asking for our postal address so they could send us the missing parts.

A lot of firms wouldn`t have even bothered to reply to the email ..Hozelock is certainly not one of those, 100% good and recommended.

I have to say I am SO pleased they are living up to what I always considered to be an excellent company with equally excellent reputation .... but then again I was their Personnel and Pensions Administrator for a few years in the early 90s. :thumb:

I left to go work for the CEO of ADAS/Maff/Defra .... what a mistake ..... :dh: but I didn't fancy the drive to Birmingham every day from near Haddenham, Bucks. :(

New pump arrived two days after calling them with a prepaid postage sticker to return the dead one.

Very pleased to have the pond up and running again so quickly after the disapointment of it breaking down.

Were they still in Aston then or had they moved to Minworth?

Hi, Gaz, haven't welcomed you to GC so .... welcome .... :)

At that time HQ was in Haddenham, Bucks, and I lived give or take 7 minutes away. HQ then moved to near Spaghetti Junction which is when I left as I didn't want that drive up the M40 every day.

The then 'computer specialist' a dear friend of mine was here in September for a couple of weeks with his family and he (who left shortly after me) understands part of HQ moved somewhere in Aylesbury ????? and then onwards .... perhaps all up to the Birmingham area.

It was a great company to work for. :blth:
