    The title describes the problem.
    The leaves are lovely!!!
I had 1 flower last year
The plant is in a large tub, has good soil and fertiliser and watered when required.
Any ideas as to why it refuses to flower would be appreciated

I think they are probably being held back by the weather Archie. Just about every gardener in Britain at the moment is complaining that things aren't growing and flowering as they should.

Come to think of it, I don't think my neighbours ones are blooming yet either.

Give it some Tomato fertilizer to try to boost flowering perhaps (either use that instead of your normal fertilizer, or just use that if you have only been using water!!). I would use it "on the weak side" compared to whatever the recommendation is for Tomatoes, and I would half the amount and use it twice as often (so that the roots always have some food available)

You did not say the age of the plant or how many years it was that you planted it in the pot. I do not plant mine in a pot, but in the ground so my experience only comes from that. And ---- I never expect a flower for 3 years.
