Husband thinks I'm bonkers, but is quietly pleased with my efforts, none the less!

I made a hypertufa planter, the day before yesterday, and today, I made some smaller, more practical concrete pots. I've had so much fun doing this, I might go into 'garage-sale' business!

    Ha ha TaraMaiden.....excellent :)

Ive been through this too a few years back....from making from scratch to hypertufing washing machine drums, to old sinks to more.
Yes, it is fun! It is also very satisfying. I have sinks here that look like old stone troughs for example and, hey ho!, they look expensive:)

    Go for it TaraMaiden :)

I'm letting the hypertufa trough weather properly for a month or two before I use it. I understand from some instructions I found, that depending on how they turn out, you can or should give the concrete pots a second layer of cement on the outside, and of course, if you intend to use them as direct planters, also let them stand and weather for a while, before use. I've really enjoyed this project, and there are a lot of videos online with lots of brilliant ideas! Such fun! :)
