      Loli, I have about three dozen you can have, they drive me mad! House sparrows of course, it's not only the noise but the endless battle to keep them from nesting under the roof tiles on my bungalow. :gaah:

      the Bible makes mention of the Sparrow. I know I do not know it well the phrase.

        It's strange how they have declined in some areas more than others. Looking out in the back garden now there are 12 Sparrows plus 2 Chaffinches. Tree Sparrows are very rare here in Dorset but House Sparrows are still doing well.

          We have plenty of both hedge and house sparrows. Eat their way through a lot of food too.
