I appear to have subscribed to threads...

    ...except I haven't! This morning I have 12 emails in my outlook inbox, telling me I have subscribed to threads on Gardeners Corner. I can assure you I haven't! It seems that every thread I have posted in over the weekend has now "subscribed" me all of it's own accord. Is this the default setting, so you have to deliberately unsubscribe? If so, please tell me how to do this!

    Anyone else having this problem? I don't need to have this many emails every day arriving in my inbox. Thanks.

    Me too Aaron, it must have been something to do with the latest updates.

    You need to go to your Control Panel (Click 'User CP' on top left)
    Then select 'Edit Options' and in the section 'Messaging & Notification' change the 'Default Thread Subscription Mode' to 'Do not subscribe'

    Then click 'Save changes'

    Cheers John, glad it wasn't just me! I never go into the User CP normally as I've no need to (except to repeatedly change my password a few weeks ago!!).
