1st of June and another wet, cold and miserable morning. Think it is only Norfolk and Suffolk ---
WHEN is the sun going to shine on us ?

I had a neighbour in Cambs who used to remark gloomily of June 21st, 'Well, it's all downhill from here, isn't it?'
He was a good gardener though.

Nice and sunny down in the big smoke today. Forecasters reckon 20 degrees (ha ha). Might get the shorts out and frighten the local wildlife. Here's an off topic picture of our pup. [IMG] He was born just before Dec 25th (apologies to Waco) and doesn't really know what the sun looks like yet.

6.00 a.m. today it was brilliant sunshine but only lasted a couple of hours before it clouded over.
At least it was warmer and the wind had dropped, so I managed to do quite a bit of planting out and at last the pumpkin plants are now in the garden, some have already got buds on them. Giant pumpkins on their way!!!
