Some of you may remember me going for an interview a couple of weeks ago...well (and I'm sure it's due to LoL's good prediction) I got the job.
I have been self employed for the last 2 1/2 years but work has suddenly got slow and I'm missing being part of a team so after scouring the job sites I applied for several and the first interview I had, I came away hoping that I was lucky as it seemed a great job, and I was!
I am now Business Systems Trainer for Oxford University (ooooh get me)and I will be part of a small team who all seem really friendly, they have even organised lunch out on my first day!

All this in a mixed week which started with my daughter having tonsillitis and being very poorly and then her hampster dying (although he lived to a ripe old age for a hampster)I am ready for a long lie down after all this!!

Well done, Dizi ... don't blame me for this one for fear it may not turn out right! [IMG] I interviewed with them and we could have been work colleages ... no, that was a few years ago and I wasn't keen on the workplace at all ... but then again, may have interviewed you ... :D :D

You know I wish you nothing but success and I'm sure you will be. Keep us posted.

So, that's you and tiggs&oscar sorted out all in a week!

Congrats, Dizi. They obviously appreciate someone who speaks English. :D I hope your daughter is getting better. You feel so helpless when your kids are ill, don't you? [IMG]

Congratulations!!! You get a great job. If i could go in a time machine i would do such a job too. I love Botanic gardens. A long time ago i've visited the Fairchild Tropical Garden in Miami. That is one of the most beutiful botanic garden of the US. You can see the impressive sausage tree and very seldom tropical fruit trees. I thought that would a great job to work there. Best would to participate on such dvlottery or how that is. But now gardening stays my hobby and that is also very nice. i love it to see that something i plant , grows up.
So you have a dream job. That is great.

Just to say that Dizi got her job over three years ago and hasn't been on the forum in over two years. :hehe:

I wonder if she is still at Oxford University and how she is doing.
