    hallo,
    southern shores of lake balaton in hungary. Visiting a friend in hospital, she was given this lovely pink thing in a pot. No-one seems to know what it is. Do you? unk_plant_pink.JPG Thanks

        I love these. I bought some earlier this year but slugs ate the shoots as soon as they came through and munched the actual bulbs, really gutted.

        oh thanks for the heads-up - i think i'll keep it in a big pot and next year, include it in my rounds in the middle of the night with torch and salted boiling water.....
