I have just spent alot of time over the last weeks preparing my garden for the summer and laid a new patio area.
I have been searching for a country metal patio set and I have just found and bought the perfect one! What do you think?

That's nice! I have 2 sets and find I don't use them to sit on as they aren't very comfortable. They look nice with plants on though!

I've got 4 Directors chairs which are great....until you want to renew the covers because of wear and tear. I can buy the seats complete but I can't find where, in the UK, to buy the covers.:dunno:

I don't have a dining table in the garden and I don't usually eat outside anyway but I do have one of these on a small patio.

If I want to read or entertain in the garden it's wonderfully comfortable. It can be collapsed flat and stored in the greenhouse in the winter but the frame is robust enough to live outside for the summer months. It will gradually deteriorate but as it only cost me £50 secondhand I think I will get my money's worth. Bringing the cushions in and out constantly is a bit of a pain but can just be left with a plastic cover during settled weather. I used to have rattan furniture outside but it doesn't fold flat and won't survive many British winters.

I was looking for a metal patio set for AGES but couldn't find one that was comfy enough for more than a few minutes. Have ended up buying two recliningg hard wood chairs and a small table. Just the job and comfy as you like!
