    I hope somebody knows, Dai, as I have the very same ones in my garden. Just odd ones, not nice clumps like you have.

    They were in a clients garden, a spot where I wanted to plant some daffs. So they had to come out.:old:

    :scratch: I am not sure about these either, but do you think they could be Petticoat Fungi that have gone a bit mad as it is about the time of year for them I think..... :scratch: Then again they are a bit fairy ring like.. Either of you put cow manure down at all.??

    Could be "Hygrocybe calyptraeformis". The gills should be pale pink. Sorry, I don't know the common name:scratch:.

    Err! no.:skp: Answering myself, it's definitely the "hydrocybe". The common name is "Meadow Waxcap". ( I had to Google for the common name:wink:) Don't eat it:wink:
