i must be doing something right ....(at last)

    i have this unidentified beauty....which this year is sending a sky rocket flower up to the sun. grown from seed i picked in a cornish poly tunnel a few years ago

    That is crackin' mate! I will have a look in my books. Think I would of spotted it though, its superb. How long have you had it. Do you leave it out in winter?

    They were working for a couple of minutes and they are crackin'. Can't see them now.

    it was over wintered in a unheated greenhouse

    Anyone know why my pictures stopped working?
    ....the 3 foot flower/trunk spike is now 7 foot and rising still

    Here it is again....it now stands 7 foot from base of pot and is yet un-opened (if it is a flower) i will add a new current image tomorrow

    Could it be a Beschonaria (spelling?)? I've seen them at Hardy Exotics but never in flower - I think the flower may be red. It's absolutely stunning whatever it is!

    Hi windy. Ive just got back from st.ives.... i have a confession!! it was hardy exotics i "borrowed" the seeds from in 2003. saw these seed pods on top of a big dead thing in one of the poly tunnels...it turned into a beauty. ill go take a pic in a min of how it is now and post it on here !
