    Hello,
I have never had cherry trees in my garden but very tempted to buy at least one. I like flowering pink cherry trees but I would like to have cherries as well. Are there any small compact cherry trees suitable for containers with nice pink flowers in spring and edible tasty fruits later in summer or autumn? Thank you.

Hello Black Orchid, Stella ticks the boxes I think
Self fertile, pink blossom, edible fruits and compact :)
There may be others but Stella is one known to me

No, white blossom. Otherwise ok but I have known it suffer from diseases and the cursed blackfly.

Any other suggestions? :) The best I could come up with.
However, Black Orchid check out Deacons Nursery. They give sound advice and supply a wide range of fruit trees. I planted an orchard of apples, pears, cherries, plums as well as figs and peaches.....all sourced from Deacons some 15 years ago.
Will have to check Stella I planted a few years ago in a friend's garden.......flowers are pale pink. Disease free, prolific and compact ....a nice tree

Thank you all for your recommendations. Much appreciated. I think I will get Stella later at the end of October.

We have " Sylvia " which is perfect for pots/planters, self-fertile and beautiful fruits. However, once again it is white flowered.
