As some of you know one of my jobs is working in a club, for the last 3 weeks theres been a beautifull Black cat hanging round, coming into the doorway and looking for somewhere to shelter, some say it lives local but its outside the club day and night, she has a collar with a bell on so she's someones pet, she's really loving and last night i was stroking her and she felt so thin, so today i bought some cat food and gave it to one of the members and told him to feed her straight away and put a bowl of water out hehe, theres enough food for 10 days because i dont work there every day, Now this is where i need your Help. ill take a pic of her my next shift on Wednesday, what sites are out there for this sort of thing!!! ..Dee..

Ps, A member told me there was a Van in the carpark which carrie'd Livestock, so maybe the cat jumped in there and the driver didn't notice, Anyway someone somewhere could be looking for there much Loved Pet....Im on a Mission :D

Bless you ydd, you are lovely. Can't help I'm afraid but I do hope he/she gets back home.

I always remember being told to go to the rescue places etc rather than just ringing up but not much help if it has hitched a lift - goodness knows where it has come from.

Can you get some pics done and post them up around the area? That may help if it is a local cat. Don't forget too, cats are very wiley. It may just be getting all the attention it can:cool:.

Seriously, hope you sort it. Could be that you have another member to your family? How would Cassie feel about that!

    cheers

Hello, Cutie ... don't forget many animals are chipped these days so you can find the owner if the poor critter is truly lost. I don't know what they charge to check a chip. :cnfs:

Contact your local rescue centres / shelters if you have the time. Personally, I would bring her home until her owners were found and then make a decision.

Good luck and you are in my thoughts. :luv:

    Ring ....

as many local vets as you can
    the RSPCA
    Cat's Protection

get a photo and make some flyers with a contact number (preferably the Cats protection, not yours) to post on telegraph poles, in newsagents and local vets, etc.

go knocking on some doors in the neighbourhood with the photo and see if anyone recognises it

There's this from the Battersea Dogs home http://www.lostcatkit.org.uk/

This site for lost pets http://www.amissingpet.co.uk/

    Lost Pets online http://www.petloversonline.co.uk/lostpet.html

    Also 0191 268 1105 - I got that from here http://www.ukpetsearch.freeuk.com/

    Hope that helps.

Failing all that, I strongly suggest you get the Cats Protection to take it and rehome it.

I was thinking of bringing her home but Cassy would go balistic, she hates cats, theres so many round our area and they Taunt her by walking across the shed and fences :)
I could phone a local vets and ask how i go about gett'n her checked, shes very young and shiney jet black, im so worried about her, theres a busy main road nearby and some pretty nasty people around, ill take pics on wednesday Sandra and post them round the area, Great idea.... Dee..

I found a lost cat a couple of years ago.
The cat protection league said they were full, and they passed me onto the RSPCA.

I took it to a local vet as told by the RSPCA.

The vet rang up a couple of days later and said they had put it to sleep.
    They SAID it was ill.
