I Need to buy a greenhouse, but where from?

Hi all, I am looking to buy a greenhouse. I only really have room for a 6x4 but i'm not sure where the best/cheapest place is to get one?

What is a good price?

any ideas? :confused:

The best deal I have found so far is �£170 from Argos. That's with crystal clear PVC rather than Glass, which I need because of my 18mnth old daughter!

I think what you mean is the cheapest you've found is �£170... but that may not be the best deal. The Argos one (I think it's �£179.99) looks as if it has no roof vents. A 6 x 4 has a very small volume and tends to heat up and cool very quickly - so vents may well be almost essential.

It may be worth spending a few quid more to get a better equipped greenhouse that won't cook your plants! Argos have a few models that are just a bit dearer, or you could google "6 x 4 greenhouse" and see what it comes up with...

 

I paid �£150 last June for 6x6 from B&Q they were giving 15% off and if I'd taken my Mum on a Wed could've got another 10% off! They will prob have another offer this year later on, and 6x4 will be cheaper.

 

I bought and 8 x 4 lean to greenhouse from Elite greenhouses www.elite-greenhouses.co.uk . Not quite as cheap as B&Q and delivery was a couple of weeks but they do a wide variety and best of all sell spares and accesories too.

 

I bought my 8x6 greenhouse from focus last year, it was the cheapest price around at the time - �£120, green painted aluminium with horticultural glass

We had to order it and wait 3 weeks for it to be delivered to the store, when we eventually picked it up and got it home we realised they had given us the wrong one so we got a �£300+ greenhouse for �£120 I did consider telling them... for about 10 seconds!
