    The idea is that we'll plant some of them along the main border against the fence behind the minature azaleas near the house and more further down where we've some rather wispy quince.

    :gnthb: In saying that.. There is a garden in Chester under the City Wall Walk if you care to go where a lady grows the most fabntastic ones I have ever seen in this tiny yet sun-filled courtyard... Somewhere I have a photo, but no scanner at present..... Will see what I can do though... :thmb:

    This is true.

    But they'll give us a bit of colour in the second half of the year.
    Ours is very much a "spring garden." once the wisterias, azaleas and rhodos have stopped flowering there's nothing much other than the roses until the fuschias in the autumn.
    Though we will have about eight orleanders we bought a couple of months ago ... and nearly a dozen "normal" lilies in pots that I've got wintering in the shed.

    They look great I love them, never seen any that grow to 6ft wow think I might get some myself
