    Whoops !!!!!!!!!!

    Poor Molly.
She as to get clipped she's got all sorts of skin problems.
And she bites her feet so i have to have as much hair as possible taken off so i can treat them.
She also gets bad ears .
    The poor old thing .
It's her Birthday soon, 25th March
    She will be 14.

Good job she's got a nice warm coat for her walks. LOL

    Yes she is much better.
    It stops her scratching.
I can get the creams and sprays on her skin easier when needed.
She's doesn't mind that much, she as a bit of a sulk for an hour or so sometimes but she's been having it done so long she soon gets over it.
She goes to the same place everytime so she knows them.
She gets covered in mud this weather, so it's best all round .
    For me and her.
    :)

Awwww she's soooo sweet!!! I've got an English Cocker too - and she goes from pic two to pic one in about 8 weeks!!! She costs me a fortune in hairdo's!!!!! They always look naked and stand there knees bent, head down and shivering..... but when they are out in the muddy ditches, you don't feel guilty then!!
Give her a big cuddle from me, and wish her a super birthday....

    Lyn she is so beautiful:)

Rosa sorry to hear about little Rosa's claws. We never had a problem with Tina's claws because of all the walking she did on hard ground kept them nice and short right up until about two years before we had to let her go when they started to get long as she wasn't walking as much due to her Arthritis so started cutting them myself with proper clippers but she wasn't too happy so took her to the vets to let them do it.It was the worst experience ever {i'm not saying all vets are like these},but the dog,me and the vet were all covered in blood by the time they had finished and it distressed me and Tina so much I wouldn't take her again, and in the end I would just gentle snip the ends off of the nails and the end off of her dew claws while Mr K used to hold her so I could get in with the clippers.I still shudder every time I think of that time:(

I bet Rosa, looks lovely now after being spruced up:D

Lyn, oh dear! I'm sure it does them good especially with the problems Molly has. I don't get Joyces' hair done but I had a poodle when I was young & he hated it! Used to be collected & brought back, straight out the back door to roll in the grass, lol. I don't know of any dog that actually likes it (Joyce hates us even brushing her!) but it does them good.

Kandy, that's terrible. To cause blood means you're cutting too close. The vet should be a person you trust which makes it doubly bad. I've always been nervous of cutting Joyces nails for that very reason. Didn't you want to 'punch' him/her? I would have - wanted to that is, I'm too soft to actually do it but if anyone hurt my Joyce......well, I wouldn't be responsible!

Anyway, you did it for the best reason Lyn. Did you see YoungDaisyDee's pics of her dog? Now that was even worse, lol. You should try and find them if they're still here.

    cheers

Sandra,Tinas claws were black so the young chap that cut them couldn't tell where the vein was.He had a caustic pencil handy which I think is supposed to stop the flow of blood but It didn't do a lot of good as one of the claws was still bleeding when we got her home.As I said yesterday I refused to have it done again as it would have been torture for her and us:( Still now she has gone over the rainbow bridge we don't have that worry anymore...
