I wish....

I wish it was possible to get a trail camera, that took colour pics at night. Without flash, I am up against the Laws of Physics.
In my garden, I have the great pleasure in hosting an unknown number of hedgehogs, 1 dog(?) fox, 1 or 2 lactating vixens and 1 or 2 which I suspect might be last years cubs - extremely nervous. I did catch a very short clip of one being chased off by the dog(?).
I just wish I could see them in colour, then I might be able to identify the different individuals, especially the hogs.
Some screen grabs and a couple of pictures of one of last year's hoglets, probably from a late litter. I first saw him out, during the day, last October. It's been a regular since but now has grown and I won't be able tell it from the rest, soon.

I think colour has something to do with the way light waves bounce off things (or something like that - physics was never a strong point of mine) so it would not be possible to have colour in your photos without a flash or daylight.

 

I know, but it doesn't mean I can't wish.
