    hmmm lovely
    big blob of vanilla ice cream filled with ginger beer,and a big pink straw.great for all you people with loads of sunshine

    hi lol used to make ice in america
    big glass jug tea bags orange slices lemons sugar to taste cold water.tight cling film and sit in hot sun ,couple of hours ,serve in lods of ice

    Where were you in America and when? Sounds like us in Alabama making ice tea in the sun in the garden.

    Kathy3, you weren't terribly far from us in Huntsville, Alabama. I was there from 1963-1977 ... with a six-month spell in Summerville, South Carolina in 1967.

    lol ispent 2 weeks in Birmingham Alabama.
    bought a charm for bracelet of the vulcan man
    that was a lot of years ago,and thats what i call heat,but loved the food (1968) :cool:

    Hi, Kathy3. Humid heat, no less! It's already been in the mid 40s there a lot of this year. At least it's dry heat here. Plus we had ice and snow in the winter. I married there in 1968.

    Southern fried chicken ... mmmmmmmm!
