    This plant grows wild on grassy verges on woodland paths, and behaves like a native, but may not be a native.. in fact I think it grows wild in Israel so it's probably a Mediterranean plant.

    It is herbaceous I think.

    The plant itself has very small delicate ferny leaves (similar to a mimosa leaf in appearance, though much smaller. It is adorned by small violet/blue coloured flowered in whorls. The fruits are like small pea pods, with small round pea like fruits inside.

    It tends to wrap itself around other vegatation.

    It may/or may not be a native, but it looks out of sync with our native plants in general and often stands out... but it's definitely settled in this country if it is none native.

      It seems like a native, but I think it's fairly attractive.. pity it's so invasive.

      They grow wild on our trading estate - easily pulled out if you find them troublesome.
