    Our son is working in the Azores and sent us some photos.
    Can anyone id this wee fellow? Looks a bit robin'ish to me.

    Maybe a Chiffchaff.. alot of the birds from the Azores also live here too

    Canary Island chiffchaff seems the closest I can get.

      Looks a little like a Chiff Chaff to me too but I would have to look in my book tomorrow as I don't think there are any fluttering around in the night sky with the full moon at the moment ... ;)

        Judging it's small size against the size of the palm fruit I would go with a Chiffchaff although it's head seems to be almost chestnut in colour unlike the normal brown head.
