    Hi, all

I'm currently clearing a seriously overgrown section at the back of my garden. There seems to be a large bush or tree somewhere (excuse my beginner's ignorance) which produces these flowers. They seem to be flowering quite wildly all over the place.

Any help appreciated with identifying them. I'm trying to decide what to keep and what to cut down.

Thanks, everyone. I've already instructed the missus to get the jam-maker out of the loft!

You can also use the flowers for Elderflower champagne. Delicious!
The berries for wine, as well as elderberry jelly

Yup, absolutely gorgeous. Don't give it the chop until it's finished flowering. Not even then if you want the berries. Get the wine bottles out at the same time for the elderflower champagne.
