    Hi folks

I'd really appreciate any assistance in identifying this purple plant, seen in a London (UK) park on 20 June. The tallest of the plants was about 45cm high.

    Aint got a clue.
But it looks a bit like some kind of sucker from a tree, looks good, but I think it might be invasive.

Did it look like it was going to be a woody plant or herbaceous? If herbaceous, then what about purple orach (Atriplex hortensis)?

Hi Cinnamon. Yes, it looked herbaceous and I think, having had a look at a few images on the web, it could very well be purple orach.

      Many thanks for your help.
