              Dies down in cold Winters but usually comes back, mine has and has grown 6ft up and 6ft along in a few months.

                I would say that the true species is fully hardy, whereas I've never found the Tresco Hybrids to be that hardy. @Jiffy - I have plenty of seed for the true species if you want some.

                Thank you Longk, this one i think is hardy as it has been in the same place for years, even in the very cold winters it has come back, i see now that there are some seed pods forming so i will ask the owns if i can borrow some
