ID please self seeded by bird yrs ago

    And now its 5ft tall entwinded itself with cotenaster but birds love it.

    It has beautiful pink flowers when it blooms.

    It grew from self seed by bird many yrs ago as its so beautiful never moved it ,but have to say bees and birds love it.

    Top to the class MF thankyou that is exactly what I have and she is beafutiful just wish it was not so close to the window when the bees come.

    Shall post photo when she is in full bloom.

    :D Great stuff...! Give it a good prune into what shape you want when it has finished flowering.. They take very kindly to being cut back then.... ;) :D

    When we have pruned well back and underneath MF it can give you impression of looking like a standard or an open umbrella.

    Must be 17 yrs old as we built our house 18yrs ago.

    Dont look at joining fence our side needs a repaint this spring.But its been too wet think I will go and take chance to cut my pampas back as new growth shall soon be start to grow again.As still got old growth.

    :eek: My goodness that is a big bush indeed.... :D I can see I don't need to tell you about pruning it, sorry... :D :D

    I am so fed up with all the rain I have some fencing & a gate I want to treat, but as you say.. Wood is soaking wet...!!!!! Oh well, sometime it will be dry enough, I hope..... :rolleyes: :D

    Just pruned back old growth of pampass and its freezing outside think its time to put kettle on.
