ID please

    Any idea what this is? Its a cutting I took last year, I dont know what it is but seems to be doing ok.

    I thought Weigela but now in doubt. Certainly the Weigela cuttings I have taken are quick growers?

    So are Cornus cuttings!

    I said Cornus as I have one with that exact colouring/variegation.

    Forgot to say, the original plant has small pale pink flowers on it.
    Looking at your pics I think its more like the weigela but i may be wrong.
