ID this fern in stone wall please

Hi,
can anyone identify this lovely, leathery little fern growing in a nearby stone wall?


I don't have a stone wall but would very much like to host this beauty if possible, so advise on where to get one would also be greatly appreciated.

I will anyways have to talk with the owner as they have an excellent evergreen Clematis on one wall and I want to ask for cuttings in spring. If things go the wrong way, I'll do a moonlight walk armed with headlight torch and scissors to get some of this lovely fern plus a snippet or two of the Clematis.

I've got one of those in a pot, nice little fern for dry places, I did find out the name, comon one being Maidenhair spleenwort.
I dont think it transplants well into soil.

 

Asplenium trichomanes, it grows on walls in my garden.

I'll keep my eyes open, definitely worth a try. I like leathery ferns.

 

This is part of the ruins of a decoy cottage in Wareham Forest and these must have been here for years and I have only seen them on old walls.

The one I have came up in a cactus pot, that gives some idea of the drainage they like.
The cactus rotted off one winter and I'm left with the fern, scared to even try moving it, infact its in the garden now and maybe I should get it out of the rain.

I originally found an earlier generation growing in a orchid pot that someone gave me, so again perfect drainage.
I might try collecting some spores.
