ID this tree/bush please

Hi all,

New member here.

Can someone ID this tree/bush in my new back garden? Trying to decide whether to keep it – I wouldn't say I like it. would rather replace it with something that gives any birds fruit in winter, etc.

@Jeremy Fuller It's difficult to say from the photo. I assume it's the plant in the right foreground. A closer picture of what appear to be spent flower stems would help. Really need flowers for ID. Don't suppose you can remember any flowers colour etc?
It could be a Japanese Anemone, but not sure.
At the end of the day if you don't like it for whatever reason then have it out, but I would wait to see flowers and get a positive id.
Perhaps an admin @shiney could move this to the Identification Area where it may get more interest.

@Victoria Kudzu han't crossed my mind; didn't think it thrived in the UK. Did find this from 2003 Real Gardeners-Anyone in the UK grown Kudzu - Pueraria thunbergiana
Not sure the leaves are right from what I can make out in the photo. I just assumed UK.
@Jeremy Fuller Where in the world are you? A bit more information would help is it a climber or a bush, damp, dry, sunny, shady. Is the previous owner around to ask?

I have heard of this invasive climber but never seen it.
Pueraria has trifoliate leaves with pretty purple flower.
Mystery vine is not trifoliate.

I believe it is Sicyos angulatus...common name Bur cucumber

I had something like this growing in my green house years ago.
I grew it from a seed i picked up in California, never found out what it was it had a massive tuber when I dug it out.
Kind of explosive seed pods.
